Christmas is coming!!!

Hi everyone,
Sorry not to have been around for ages, I've been having chemo, third one and half way through next Tuesday. Hope it is not too unkind this time. Anyway I've had a lovely project to keep me busy over the last couple of weeks. Sandy at The Craft Barn asked me if I would like to decorate an advent calendar. How could I refuse!! It has been good to have something to keep occupied and I've certainly enjoyed doing it. I painted the box with acrylic paints be Claudine Helmuth. They are really easy to work with and dry nice and quickly. The front of the doors were decorated with Christmas papers by..... the name escapes me at the moment (sorry chemo brain) but I will check and add them on. These were then glittered with stickles for a nice blingy, sparkly, effect. The insides of the calendar were also painted and papered to match the doors. I used a variety of ribbons to make a full bow and coloured some flowers and leaves using Viva mtallic paints to finish the decoration. I now have another one to do for me!!!!
Hope you like it.
See you soon,

Jane xx

I am still here, just haven't had much time for posting. Unfortunately I have not been able to do much crafting lately as I was diagnosed in May with breast cancer. Since then its been lots of hospital visits, tests, two operations and a third one in just over a weeks time. Hopefully, after that op I shall be able to move on to radiotherapy and hormone treatment. Anyway, I can't praise my team at Crawley and Redhill hospitals highly enough, they moved so quickly and have been so caring. It is all very positive nowadays and sadly the clinic is very busy with many ladies and some gents. So, enough of the boring stuff.
The card today is one that was published in Papercraft Essentials, this month I think, using the wonderful Copics and a Kadoodle Stamp. I do love my Copics and aplogise to all the ladies at The Barn who are waiting on my Copic Masterclasses, I will get there soon!! The papers are Basic Grey, another of my favourites and the flourishes were cut using the Slice machine.

See you soon,

Jane xx

OMG how long is it since I put anything on here??I have been kept really busy with classes and demos and have been really lucky to have a couple of projects in magazines.
My favourite craft item at the moment is definitely the Copic Ciaos. They are fabulous for blending and you can use them on card, ribbon, buttons all sorts!! I really like airbrushing with them and must get on with some new projects for the June Extravaganza at the Craft Barn, one for your diaries - 6 and 7 June. There will be lots of demonstrators and some really wicked things for you to see!!
The cards I am posting tonight are two I made for a demo lat week using Copics, Stamposaurus Stamps and the best papers in the world - Basic Grey!! The flowers are coloured with Copics to match the dress. Hope you like them.

Thanks for looking, see you soon, Jane xx

I am sorry not have posted for such a long time, I have been very busy with projects at home. The biggest being the wonderful Copic markers. I am so loving these pens!!! Yesterday I did my first demo with them at The Craft Barn and met so many nice people interested in using them. I think they will be very popular. I was kept very busy all day with colouring and airbrushing. There is nothing else that colours like them. I will post some pictures very soon.
I have also been busy with a scrapbook page that will hopefully be appearing in a magazine in a few months. Will let you know later.
Since my last post I have been lucky enough to have a card in Creative Cardmaking, a new magazine only available in craft shops and another card in Papercraft Essentials in their supplement.
The days seem to fly by and I can't believe we are already into March.

Thanks for looking, see you soon,

Jane xx
