Mothers Day on TCBBlog

Mornin all,

This week on The Craft Barn Blog it has been projects for Mothers Day!!!!
A very special week for all those wonderful mums
out there!!

I decided to use the Tando 'Mum' with papers and paint.....

The colours haven't come out quite as they should, the purple
looks a little too blue.

My mum is still in hospital and was due to come out next week
but the hospital has this horrible winter vomiting bug again
and everything is shut down.  Nobody allowed in and nobody
allowed out!!!!  Hope she doesn't get it!!!!!!

Well, today you will find me at The Craft Barn
demoing the fabulous Gelli Plate!!!!  I love it!!
Andy Skinner should have been demoing and he is fantastic
with it but unfortunately he can't make it so I am
there instead.............no pressure eh????????

See you soon,

This week on TCB Blog!!!

Hi everyone,

Gosh isn't it warm again???

I'm not a great lover of the heat, what with hot flushes and Tamoxifen, I just
get soooooo warm!!!

Had alovely day in France and Belgium on Monday.
Got the early train through the tunnel at stupid o'clock and got back about 9.30pm.
I was absolutely shattered but it was a nice day out and I got a little sunburnt sitting
the beach.  Wow, their beaches are so big and sandy, the same cold, murky looking
English Channel but hey, you can't have everything!!!!

Anyway, over at TCB Blog, we have all been playing with products from Artemio.
I chose to decorate a wooden box with paints and papers!!

I love working with wooden items!!

So, if you want to see how it was made, then you know where you have to go....

Hope you like it.....
....this is what I used .....

Spellbinders - Shapeabilities -Foliage
Viva Decor - Precious Metal Paint - Purple
First Edition Paper Pack - Dreamcatcher

See you soon,

Woodware Week !!

Hi folks,

Summer is here at last, YAY!!!!!!
Actually, do i really mean that, I am warm enough with hot flushes
without this heat!!!

Anyway, this week on The Craft Barn Blog we are playing
with Woodware products.

It is my turn to do a step by step and I chose to use the lovely
Huge Happy Birthday stamp, I liked it the very first time I saw it and knew
it would end up coming home with me at some stage!!

I made cards showing two different ways of using it and here they are....

This one uses Copics.....

This one uses papers....

So what do you think???
If you want to see how they were made, you know where to go!!!

See you soon,

Not Art Impressions today!!!

Hi everyone,

Thought today I would show another of the Kanban Moulin Divas ladies, these proved very popular at the weekend.  They are lovely stamps to work with and stamp really nicely!

Today's stamp is Belle Femme

I came out of my comfort colours for this one, couldn't have a completely pink and purple table!!!
I actually really enjoyed using these colours for a change and will definitely use them more.

I have also used Crystal Stickles on this lady but unfortunately it doesn't really show in the photo!

The patterned paper is from a  First Edition paper pack called Isabelle - I had to use that !!!
(Youngest daughter!!)

And here she is.....
off to her Prom last week, I am going to be in soooooo much trouble if she sees this!!!!!

Well, that is all today,

A Kanban lady for you!!

I have been busy doing projects for The Craft Barn extravaganza which is at the end of June/beginning of July.  As I have to pace myself I thought I would get making a little while ago.  I am having  a great time playing with my Copics !!

So I thought I would share this lady with you today

She is one of the Kanban 'Moulin Divas - Tres Chic' girls.  Really nice to work with!!

I've coloured her with Copics and added some diecut and punched embellishments.

The little roses are die cut and then put together, great with Coredinations or Bazzill to keep everything matching!!

I'm sorry it is in my usual comfort colours but I have some more to show you which definitely aren't!!!!

It is my first time back teaching next week at The Barn, a Copic Masterclass, what else???  Will be nice to get back to a bit of normality!!

I am also taking a class on the Saturday afternoon of the extravaganza, again with Copics if anyone is interested.  I think there are a few spaces left.

Hope you like her,

Back soon,

Jane x
