Mothers Day on TCBBlog

Mornin all,

This week on The Craft Barn Blog it has been projects for Mothers Day!!!!

A very special week for all those wonderful mums

out there!!

 

I decided to use the Tando 'Mum' with papers and paint.....

 

 

 

The colours haven't come out quite as they should, the purple

looks a little too blue.

 

 

My mum is still in hospital and was due to come out next week

but the hospital has this horrible winter vomiting bug again

and everything is shut down.  Nobody allowed in and nobody

allowed out!!!!  Hope she doesn't get it!!!!!!

 

Well, today you will find me at The Craft Barn

demoing the fabulous Gelli Plate!!!!  I love it!!

Andy Skinner should have been demoing and he is fantastic

with it but unfortunately he can't make it so I am

there instead.............no pressure eh????????

At the Movies

 

 

Yup this week we have been 'at the movies'!!!!!

The DT has come up with some fab projects yet again

and today is my turn with a very simple card.....

 

 

 

I used the gorgeous stamps by Kanban and coloured with Copics.

 

 

She is just the most gorgeous image to colour in and this is

not the first time I have used her!!!!

Some of you may remember a card I made for last years

Extravaganza using the same image.

Hi everyone!!!!

Sorry to have been absent for so long, 2013 has not been a brilliant year for me so far!!!
 

Not only is my mum still in hospital and really not improving that much
 but I also had another bout of labyrinthitis which put me out of actiion
 for several days and then just to finish it off, I had a cup of boiling tea
 spilt on my leg just over a week ago.
  It was an accident but I ended up in casualty with a second degree burn!!!!
 OMG how painful is tea on your leg and not in a cup!!!!!
Oh and I had to miss going to the NEC to the trade show........
aaaaaaagh, I was so looking forward to it this year!!!!!
Never mind, there is always next year!!!!

Anyway, I have been seriously neglecting this blog and so have quite
 a bit of catching up to do........ 
hope you have been keeping up with the projects over on TCBBlog, I have
managed to keep up with most of them!

This week on TCBBlog we are 'at the movies' and as usual there is

Happy New Year!!!!

 

 

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while.

I've had a very poorly mum who has now been in hospital for nearly

five weeks and have been having to deal with that as well

as my elderly father at their home.

Not been an easy time but hopefully, she is now looking a bit better

and maybe transferred to our little local hospital very soon which will

definitely help with visiting!!!

 

So that is now two Christmasses in a row that have been difficult, first me and

now mum!!  Hopefully this next one will be better!!!!!!

 

Anyway, I will be back soon and I want to wish you all

a very Happy and Healthy New Year!

Keeping it Simple......

Hi everyone,

I am trying to keep it simple, do you know how hard that is???

To leave areas not touched......you have to sit

 on your hands!!

 

Anyway I shall be trying to keep it simple

for a few weeks.......aaagh!!!!

 

 

Well, this week has been Candle week over on TCB Blog

and I am closing the week with

my candle/calendar project.

 

 

 

 

I decided to combine both items to make a calendar candle!!

Please, if you do make a project like this, make sure you

tell the recipient NOT to set light to the candle, just keep it as

some thing pretty to look at!!

 

 

As you can see the flower has been decoupaged.
