Colouring Techniques Week on the Blog!!!

Hi everyone,

Are you enjoying the Olympics???  So pleased Great Britain is doing so well.

The athletes work so hard and the para-olympians are just amazing.

I do hope they get good coverage on the tv too!!!

Well, this week it is colouring techniques on The Craft Barn Blog.

All week the DT are using different products so you really must pop over and

 have a look.

I decided to do something which was quite popular at

the extravaganza - decorating candles!!!

Hellooooo,

Hi folks,

Just popping by to let you know what has been happening on

 The Craft Barn Blog this week!!

We have all been working with Stampbord, which if you haven't had a

play with it yet, do have a go!!!

This week it has been combined with the lovely Impression Obsessiion Stamps.

I chose to use the lovely Roses......

and here is my English Rose......

The stampboard was coloured with Copics!!

Been really busy this week, had a class with Art Impressions Sunday,

The Craft Barn Club today and another class -

Copics 2 on Saturday!!!  I'm absolutely shattered but I can have

a rest after that. 

I must say a big thank you to all the lovely ladies who have been in the

classes.  I've had a great time and I hope you have too!!!

Woodware Week !!

Hi folks,

Summer is here at last, YAY!!!!!!

Actually, do i really mean that, I am warm enough with hot flushes

without this heat!!!

Anyway, this week on The Craft Barn Blog we are playing

with Woodware products.

It is my turn to do a step by step and I chose to use the lovely

Huge Happy Birthday stamp, I liked it the very first time I saw it and knew

it would end up coming home with me at some stage!!

I made cards showing two different ways of using it and here they are....

This one uses Copics.....

This one uses papers....

So what do you think???

I just love Cliff!!!!

Hi everyone,

I just love Cliff from Art Impressions!!!  He makes me smile whenever I see him!!

I think we all know someone like him! Ha ha !!!

He is so lovely to colour!!  And I think the sentiment says it all!!!!

Another of my samples from the Extravaganza.

As usual he was coloured with Copics and the clouds were airbrushed

using a Memory Box die.

British Summertime at its best!!!!!!

How are you enjoying our lovely summer weather........

Had to take some pictures of this hailstone storm which just hit us.....

This managed to fall out of the sky over Surrey in a matter of minutes,

Unbelieveable!!!

Just been out to look at the garden and all my lovely hosta leaves

 are ripped to pieces,

Fabric Week on The Craft Barn Blog!!

Hi everyone,

Think I have just about recovered from the Extravaganza last weekend.

 Unfortunately, my work room hasn't, I really need to get out there and give it a major clean up!! 

 I have a table which measures roughly 7' by 4' and I end up working in a space about 18" square!!!!!

  What a mess!! Well I can get all nice and tidy now, don't you hate it when you can't find things!!

Anyway, it's Fabric Week on The Craft Barn Blog this week.

  There are some really pretty materials on the website and it is nice to be able to use them for different projects.  I am kicking off the week with a card.......

Not Art Impressions today!!!

Hi everyone,

Thought today I would show another of the Kanban Moulin Divas ladies, these proved very popular at the weekend.  They are lovely stamps to work with and stamp really nicely!

Today's stamp is Belle Femme

 I came out of my comfort colours for this one, couldn't have a completely pink and purple table!!!

I actually really enjoyed using these colours for a change and will definitely use them more.

I have also used Crystal Stickles on this lady but unfortunately it doesn't really show in the photo!

The patterned paper is from a  First Edition paper pack called Isabelle - I had to use that !!!

(Youngest daughter!!)

And here she is.....

off to her Prom last week, I am going to be in soooooo much trouble if she sees this!!!!!
