Hellooo,

Hope you are all well and enjoying this warmer weather we are having.
I did see last night that we are expecting snow again at the weekend....
Whaaaat?
Thought we’d had it for this year.  Good job the wellies are still out!

I’ve had a fantastic few days with a friend, enjoying an amazing
Creative Weekend with Anna Marie Designs in a lovely hotel in
 The Cotswolds!

We were kept very busy and made some beautiful projects but as there will
be another group attending in a few weeks, I am not allowed to show you
anything yet!  I will post some pics here as soon as the ban is lifted!

What a lovely part of the country, I’ve never visited there before but will
certainly go back.
I really recommend this weeekend, we shall certainly be saving our
pennies so we can go again.

Hi Everyone,

Well I have been a very bad blogger and not been here for 4+ years!!
How bad is that?

A lot has changed in that time but my crafting has continued.

I do post on my Facebook page but thought I really should come back and
show some samples here too.  I know not everyone has Facebook,
love it or hate it.

Over the next few weeks,  I hope to be getting up and running here again
with lots to show you!

Lovely Lavinias

I had such a great time demoing the lovely Lavinia stamps, I thought
I must come and put some pics here.

It was so nice to do something other than Copics for a change
and it was good to get messy.....thank you Tim Holtz for
your scrubbie.....it works like a dream!!!!

I used Distress Inks with a brush for the backgrounds and
the foliage, fairies etc were stamped with
Memento inks which come in a fantastic array of colours

My favourite colours!!!!

Again all done with a brush and stamping, not a brayer in sight!!

Doesn't always have to be about fairies either.

This one has a Memory Box border and snowflakes added
cut from white glitter card.

It is hard to see on the photos but I used a lot of Stickles
on these samples to give a frosty touch.

This one had shaved ice added around the edge and around the door
and a few little red gems to look like berries.

They were great fun to do and actually very quick and easy.
Unforunately I now have a huge collection of Lavinia stamps as I can't stop buying them!!!!!!

Never mind, they will be used.....

And don't forget the next demo at The Craft Barn is on Saturday
2nd of November, I shall be there with gifts for Christmas.
Hope to see you there!!

See you soon,

Helloooooo

Had a fantastic day at The Craft Barn yesterday.  I was lucky enough to
have the day playing with Lavinia Stamps!!!!!!
It was good to use something instead of Copics for a change and
I got nice and messy with Distress Inks.
Thanks to all the lovely ladies who stopped with me.
You are what makes our demos so special.
Stupidly, I managed to forget to take any photos so I will have to take some
of my samples next time I'm  at the shop.

Anyway, I thought I would post a few of my DT samples
which I have not had time to post here over the past few weeks.
Where does the time go????

This card was for the Vintage Cute week, I used Copics  and
the lovely Lindsay Mason Doo Lally Stamp.  I love them
and the sentiment that comes with them!!!!

This was the week we used the large Impression Obsession
Cover a Card stamps.  I used Distress Inks for the background and
this was my first attempt using the lovely Sparkle Medium.
I was surprised at how easy it was to use.

Hexagon week was fun.  I decided to make an exploding box which are
always popular at the shop.  It was nice to use these gorgeous bright colours
for a change.

And the inside.....

I'll be back with some more later!!!!

See you soon,

Fabulous Holidays

Hi everyone,

Not been here for a while as I have been away on the most fabulous
 holiday in Kos!!

Oh wow what a Hotel, the Atlantico Porto Bello Royal,
I can definitely recommend it!!!

Food was wonderful, rooms wonderful, staff wonderful
and 14 pools.........wonderful!!!!

The view from the bar where we had cocktails in the evenings...

Two of the pools.....

Where we sat most days and had this pool almost to ourselves.......

Just brilliant!!!!!!!!!

Didn't see much of Kos though, just chilling out.
It was too hot to do too much and I have to be very careful
in the sun.  So a lot of time spent in the shade reading.....
ahhhh can it get much better???????

Still, back to work now......

I didn't have time to sort out postings here before I went,
so I shall start doing that over the next few days
and add some cards from the Extravaganza.

See you soon,

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are enjoying the sunshine, it has been so lovely and warm
but I can't say I have had any time to enjoy it!!!!
The extravaganza went really well, thank you to all the lovely ladies
who came and sat with me, I enjoyed your company and your
kind comments.  I really liked making the flowers and when I  get
some pictures taken I shall post them here.
The marquees worked really well and were lovely and light and airy, there
was plenty of room for everyone.
Since then I have been working in the shop and also took
The Craft Barn club on Thursday. A very friendly
group of ladies and a very nice day, making flowery cards in the morning
and an exploding box in the afternoon.

Well, today is my day on TCBblog and this week its one for the men!!
Why are they always sooooo difficult???
I decided to use a Tando lion and colour it with Copics for
a card for a 'little' man.....
